Four Strings performed as a string trio for the wedding of Nicole Nikisher and Ryan Smith. The ceremony was held at Parkway Baptist Church in McKinney TX on October 29, 2011. The chapel boasts remarkable (and somewhat unexpected) acoustics for live strings.

Four Strings provided a solo cello for the outdoor wedding of Grant Krieger and Angela Quick at the Katy Depot in Denison, TX on Saturday October 1, 2011. While a solo instrumentalist is unusual for us, the single cello was nicely suited for the more casual atmosphere of the prelude, as guests mingled and conversed in the (thankfully) temperate Texas weather.

Four Strings provided ceremony music for the wedding of Mike Johnson and Kristen Romig on 24 September 2011, at the Willowood Chapel in Bells, TX.

The Willowood Ranch and Chapel is a new venue for us, located about 10 minutes east of Sherman, TX on a large country property. The Chapel is quite lovely, and boasts fine acoustics for live strings.

We performed in two sets: first (as Four Strings) a set of classical music for the arrival of the guests; then switching to our rock music format (revolution4) for the dinner itself.

Return Engagement

About once a year we make the trek to Canton, TX,  to perform at the home of our friends, the Blanchards. As part of the day's entertainment, Four Strings provides a string duo. This is a chamber music concert, substantially varied from the usual wedding and reception repertoire. This year's program was a walk through music history in chronological fashion, with biographical introductions for each composer.
